On the morning of Saturday, August 4, 2007, Triangle Impact will host Service Juris Day, a public service day in which over 200 members of the Triangle’s legal community, including law firms, law schools, courts, corporate in-house legal departments, and associated businesses, will gather to undertake extensive volunteer service at Lions Park and Community Center in Raleigh, NC. Registration for the event will begin in July with early registration available for sponsoring organizations and firms.

Similar Service Juris models of community service have been successful in major markets across the South, including Atlanta and Miami. Service Juris volunteers have undertaken comprehensive renovation and landscaping projects and helped revitalize at-need local schools and parks. These projects have had a significant impact on the selected sites and neighboring communities. With your financial and volunteer resources we hope to continue and expand this tradition to our community as the Triangle’s inaugural Service Juris Day.
